| ball link sizes????
I know that dubro 4-40 heavy duty ball links use 4-40 threaded rod. Does anybody know what mfg brand and or part number ball links that you would use for say 8-32 or 6-32 all thread? I don't have alot of rc trucks and so I can't tell what size the ball links are when someone talks about a stampede or a tmaxx. I'm leaning toward 8-32 allthread covered with 3/16 alum. tubing. I just don't know which ball link will work on this particular size rod. Thanks DC |

I just got some 8/32 threaded rod and it fit the revo rod ends ( part #5347), but I couldn't get them in by twisting them on. So I ended up using a tap first and then they fit right in.

Durbo Monster Duty rod ends are sized for 6-32 threads and can easily be tapped for 8-32. There's plenty of room left so they aren't weakened.

Does anybody know what size allthread would fit the traxxas links that fit the stampede? They come in a kit from tower with 16 long and 4 short . They are priced right when compared to the dubro. They are 19.99 for 12 and I'll need 16 DC |

Sounds like the ones also used on the MAXX's... They use a 3mm thread which is equivalent to 4/40 I do believe...

you could tap them to a 6/32 if you need to.
