Radio system??

I have noticed it looks like quite a few people use airplane/helicopter style controlers or atleast it looks like it. Any reason for this??

people use 4-6 channel setups running at 75mhz or 2.4 ghz, for Fcc rules, to give them better control of there super clods with 4ws and dig, or to control more functions on there scale rigs, IE a winch, lights, other goodies

I see. Thanks, I may use the controls from the left ofer helicopter I have then!
