| I don’t know how these wheels work
I got some new wheels for my 1/18th RC4WD Gellande ii. I got the tires swapped straight across no worries, but I went to put the wheels back on, and the old ones didn’t work like I thought they did. I was expecting to put the wheels on a 7mm nut and be done with it but there isn’t a 7mm nut to put them on? Can anyone help me out? Im going to put pics on to help

It sounds like your axles have "pin drive" hubs as opposed to hex drive. The photos you mentioned will certainly help us figure out what's really going on. But if I'm on the right track then you'd need pin drive hub adapters for your wheels. It sounds like you have hex drive hub adapters on your wheels currently. |

without pics i wanna ask if there's any way the adapter hexs you're looking for are still stuck inside your original gelande ii rim hubs? it'd be really easy to overlook that, as sometimes they can be a real struggle just to remove. the original rc4wd wheels use aluminum hex's (black?) inside an aluminum hub (silver?) with a super tight fit. after some serious use, those hex's can get wedged in there something fierce.
