Default Team competition?

So I had a weird idea. I think it would be a lot of fun, but maybe a PITA, but it could be worth it.
I’m putting this here in case this already exists and I’m too new to know LOL:

Concept:
Team competitions.
Run mostly the same course, but add a few obstacles that require 2 cars to clear.
An example would be both cars needing to cross a teeter totter, but on rig starts at ground level, and the other from an elevated position.
The first car needs to cross the teeter to get it up to the 2nd car. Then maybe one car needs to go high to exit, and the other low, or even both could go low.

I have come up with 4-5 obstacles that would work here.

Cars could “help” each other on course without penalty. If the first car gets hung up, the 2nd could give him a bump, or you could hook up a tow strap or even winch.

I think it would be a fun addition, and even gives you another run on the course instead of one and done.

Thoughts?
Discuss.

We do something locally similar, but on natural terrain with our scale rigs. Usually partnering a performance based build with a more scale rig, and then run a course. The big drop offs require someone behind anchoring you and some climbs require a winch or a larger rig... My Bronco is one of the larger trucks that can mostly keep up with the local comp rigs but is detailed like a show rig... lots of fun ...

On this run I was partnered with a little class 0 yoter...

This actually sounds like a very fun concept. Id be all for doing this. I mean in reality its what the real world is like, you never really go wheeling alone, or at least I dont anymore.

Funny you say that. Team RCEC is hosting the new England trophy series this year which is a 5 event series of cooperative team events doing mini-land rover trophy inspired events, like finding GPS way points, or uprighting/recovering a stuck/broken truck, or a trials course, or silly drivers tests.

It's Been good fun thus far, would reccomend.
