Which Transmission

I am building two crawlers at right now, a Maxx based rig and a TLT based rig. Both are my first crawlers, I got the TLT and it was awesome then I looked at my T- maxx with a blown motor and decided it was time to start that to. Anyway my question is what transmission should I use for the maxx. I have seen most people use the E-maxx tranny, and some use the t-maxx tranny. I want to use the pede tranny and I found a link on what to do with the yokes, I was just wondering what your opinions are. and maybe if someone has used a pede tranny they could throw me a few pointers. Thanks.
