| Help with yokes
I am building a tlt kit, and I am using the traxxas platic yokes (I plan on upgrading to metal when I get the extra money) I am having a he!! of a time getting the "balls" into the yokes, the "tabs" will not flex enough to get them in. Does any one have any tips on how to make it a little easier. I am doing this for two crawlers and I have spent 45min without any luck on one already. Thanks TQ |

put them in boiling water for about 30secs... the plastic becomes plyable. should be abel to do it by hand then.

hold a small flat screwdriver on the one side to hold in place ,then push on the other side to snap in place.

in alot of traxxas kits they come with a tool specifically made for that task. looks like a rectangle with a notch cut out on one end.

snap ring plyers work great, use them to spread the tabs and the metal joint slips right in
