Default Which crawler?

Here is my problem I getting ready to build my first crawler and I trying to decide which will be better for the build.

Right now I have a brand new TLT and a brand new Wheely King

Any suggestions and help would be great!

thanks

Do you want a full out crawler or just something to play with on the rocks outback? Thinking about competing for anything or just trail running? Some simple questions if answered will help others to point you in the right direction.

Use the TLT axles and the WK tranny...

I'd say buy a pimpslap chassis. Super cheap and will handle almost anything. See syco133 for one. Then get a different chassis for the King. That way you can compare.

go with the WK. the axles are beefier and wider and mostly better for a basher. but then again you also have to consider that there is not as much aftermarket support for the WK. just look through the different builds for each and see which you like better. IMO the WK is easier to make into a crawler with the least extra money. just add longer links and some better tires and you are pretty much set for awhile atleast

then go with the tlt now since there is so much out there for it, and then in the future build up the WK. the possibilities for the tlt are almost endless and there is so much knowledge on here about them that pretty much any problem you have with it can be solved with a simple question here. go with an SW2 or SW3 when they come out and just look at some of the builds and get your ideas. once you get going on it its easy to build one. and like i said after wards when time and money permit, build up the WK into something also, until then just use it as a basher
