Question how to mount big bore shock on an emaxx truck??

hi i have an stock emaxx.. that i have to change the stock shocks...

so i bought the traxas big bore shocks, and when i was ging to mount them i note this

the stock shocks you just mount them with one screw.. the big bores says tha you have to mount them with 3 different pieces(a threated rod, a lock nut and a piece of plastic)

now i think both ways will work.. but wich way is better... my personal opinion is use just the stock screw.. but is always better ask to the pros

thanks

you are thinking way to much into this.... just mount them like they are stock.

It probably took you more time to write up that post then it would have to actually just try it out.
