| Finally bit the bullet....
Well, I finally made a decision and pciked up a chassis kit for my TLT. I ordered a Tracer TLT kit from the Crawler Store... I cannot wait to get wheelin!!!! |

The Tracer is a decent chassis, but it's weak link is the use of the stock TLT transmission. You can take some steps to improve the stock TLT transmission performance, but if you want to compete I'd advise looking into a Pede or other tranny. If you just want to crawl and have fun: Get this belt to replace the stock belt. They are from a Nitro RS4 and are wider and thicker: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXM740&P=7 And make one of these set ups for your transmission: low-buck TLT... Set up like that, I have to really bind my rig up to get the belt to skip. It's like running a tight slipper... |
