Lightbulb pick my truck!!!!!

ok

i need some help deciding what truck to get.

i want to keep it something like a tlt, but i cant afford expensive trucks.

i was thinking about a custom frame w/ 4 links and wk axles
my 2nd inde was a torsion frame w/ the same axles or tlt's

thanks for any ideas!!!

Take a good look at the 4x4 wheelie king, it comes rtr. The tranny and shocks will work fine for a crawler, so that saves you some time looking and deciding what to use. Being as its RTR you will already have a useable radio, battery pack, esc, and motor to get you started. None of the electronics are top notch stuff, but you can upgrade as youre budget allows. At $200-$210 its not a bad start.

Scratch that. He probably wants reliability and replacement parts availability more than he wants something THAT cheap. Besides, look around, nylints arent going that cheap these days.

Buy a 4x4 Wheely King, and then spend a bunch of time reading up on the builds using the stock chassis. You can have a very capable crawler for very little $$ with the WK. Later on down the road, you can save your money and decide where the best place is to invest money toward upgrades you need (maybe a chassis, or an upgraded ESC, or better tires, etc)
