whats the bst way to set up rear steer on a stock maxx??

Put your servo on top of the bulkheads and make some brakets from your bumper mounts and you upper a-arm pins.

There are so many threads about this already, type in "tq3 mods" in search or 4 channel. Its really as easy as that.

i have a maxx crawler i have trouble with keepen it between the lines i want rear steer everone says its easy but i now have a mind block and are out of ways to do it right

no, i dont have the setup but thats how you do it, two servos with a Y cord or a tq3 for indipendant rear steer control.

i tried rear steer oon a stock maxx. the links to the servo need to be at the same angle of the a arms or when it flex's the wheels will turn out and track funny. i have seen i kit for it but i cant remember where right now

That kit is in CAR ACTION mag, in the back. Small little add but pretty cool. Cost is $100. You can build it for less than $20 if you have a servo laying around. Now I made mine toatally different. I mounted mine to the a-arm. But I don't know how will it would work on the a-arms that are going to be moving. Check out my old tread, on page 2 Maxx crawlers, Mine is the ( my maxx crawler build) one at the top. It shows how I mounted mine.
