| So what is my best starting point?
OK after looking around a while i've decided i want to build a sort of scale rig. i want it to look like my 78' blazer/ bugggy i has been dovetailed in the rear w/ leafs up front and 4 link rear. i want it to be built more for function more than form but i want it to llok more like the real thing. i want axles that will closely resemble the real thing and not those big chunky ones. what about the raptor axles are those considered good? or need more R and D? i will want my COG to be low and the ride hight low as possible if a 4 link is nessisary in the front that is fine. I had a Team Associated T-4 that had a brushless system on it and that was awesome, i noticed that some on here run brushless. I have 42" iroks on the blazer what will closely resemble them and be a good functional tire. i like the idea of the little tow straps and stuff so i want to do some of that but mainly it needs to get down in the rocks! ok so now you guys have an idea of what i'm looking for set me up w/ a chasis, suspension, and drivetrain. I am willing to spend 500-1000 on a complete setup w/ radio and all . thanks- justin

this a good semi scale, semi comp chassis. NEW CNC'd K2-3L & K2-3S Chassis's... Axles, go with TLT or wheelykings. With your budget, I would go brushless... see HolmesHobbies for that. Tranny, R2 for a more scale look. Scale stuff... look around- vendors are making stuff all the time. |
