supers are clod, txt, based rigs, typically 2.2 rigs use tlt or wheelie king axles the 2.2 refers to the rim size

check out the competition section and look at the stickies at the top
will tell you all you need to know about the different classes

read this, then use the search button:?

2.2 deals with the size of the wheel as stated in the above post so the outer diameter is limited to 2.2 inches.

same thing with the 1.9 class those refer to rim size (stock highlift) for example, some people do run 2.2 rims on clod axles

ok oops i missed the rim size part. ok got it same differance as 17" wheels and 20" wheels in the 1:1 world. most run 20's on 2.5 military axles and 17" or less on dana 60's. ok the mud is clearing, thanks. are there conversion parts needed or do they use the same method of mounting?

For supers like a clod or txt, an adapter is needed to convert the 12mm hex to something like 23mm for certain types of wheels.

For 2.2s, most 2.2 size rims with a hex are 12mm. Some wheels use a crosspin instead of a hex, but the hex style is most popular.
