Default Droop suspension

What is the advantage of having droop suspension on a 2.2 rig?

Biggest advantage is a lower COG (center of gravity).

#2 (in a shaft driven crawler) is less torque twist.

It's going to be a lot of personal preference. Some people on here like having droop, either full or just some. And other like have a sprung suspension...

A drop will have less clearance over rocks, but the idea is that when it is high centered the axles can drop down.

Your chassis does not need to be drop or conventional specific. I run drop suspension on my 2.2 that ran sprung for the first 3 comps. Same with my Super. It really comes down to working out the bugs. Both setups require tuning and a specific driving style.
