Default Body Panels

i built a tuber and i was wondering what to use for body panels... I tried a pop can but after like five mins on the rocks it was shredded.

I just mocked up my panels and I used really thin plexi. glass. Works really well!

you can use an old lexan body or you can go to the store and buy some polycarbonite and cut it yourself and attach it with zip-ties or screws and mounts

yep and if they dont have it at ur local home depot then im shure like ace or lowes will have somthing

ours ony carries thick stuff, like 1/8" and thicker for window glazing

hmm well i got some 1/8" and i got some idk what size it is but its proll like double the thickness of a lexan body its like perfect for pannels and stuff

u know what i dont even rember i can check maybe tomarro if u guys are intrested i could buy a few sheets and u just give me the sizes u need and i can cut it down so i could ship it

I was thinking of the same thing, since I already have 100 sheets of 16x24 .060 polycarbonite sheet here...........LOL

the local race supply shop here has roll plastic for making ground effects you can use it in a break and it holds shape really well, its tough stuff and it comes pre-dyed so you want scrape the color off. i could hook you up w/ some drops if you want should be enough to do a buggy. LMK-justin
