Welcome to RCC!! First suggestion for you, is to take some time looking around and reading up here. All the answers are here. The vendors section can help you with most of the items you're looking for. There is also "How-to" stickys at the top of each section. |

1.) Buy a TLT kit or some axles. 2.) If you plan on building from the ground up atleast $350-$450 3.) Look in the vendors section and look on Montanascaledesigns.com 4.) just have to watch ebay to find one. Those are what i think some people might have differne opinions..also a nice way to start is to buy a 4wd wheely king... |

Montana Scale Designs makes a lot of really cool stuff. The best XJ body I've ever seen was on this German site, but they ain't cheap by any means. Actually they make a complete RTR very scale XJ: http://www.scaleoffroad.de/ | |

What's up Elephant? I'm in Miami too. Most of the basics have been mentioned above. Price...don't put a limit on it. You'll buy some stuff, use it, see some more cool stuff, buy it, and on and on. To get started, try some of the cheaper things. Do a lot of searching and reading up on all the builds in the scale section. Reign makes good chassis for scale trucks. All the vendors on this site can pretty much supply u with everything u need! Good luck. PM me if u have any questions and maybe I can help some more and hurry up and get something built so we can get together for some crawlin. We need a group down here in South Florida.
