Default Cool Crawler Action Pictures

Here are some really awsome and sharp pics of my crawler in action--

Hope you enjoy the pictures!
(BTW, these pictures were taken on the crawler course I made. See my thread How to build a crawling course: step-by-step ...... Located in the Tips, Cheap Tricks/Parts guide thread.)

Thank you! Actually, those tires and wheels came off my new Monster GT. They work great for crawling, and are soft and durable. And the chassis is a NN from www.tcscrawlers.com . And thanks again for the comments!

I know they did, I am one of the people who did. I still think they are great. For the surfaces that I crawl on (smooth and very bumpy rocks are what my course if comprised of,) and these tires perform awsome. I had a set of Moab XL's on a set of BFT rims a while back, and the moabs just didnt cut it in the grip factor for me. Also, with a little bit of traction compound on these tires, they are even better.

Thanks. Here is a thread I made on my old account--How to build a crawling course: step-by-step

And I am running the stock links that came with the NN chassis. I have a 55/45 wheelbase with it. 16.5''

Sorry. And thanks. Personally, I think the NN, next behind the Stick, is one of the best chassis out there.

And I couldn't really do much about the body color. It came off of my Monster GT, and I dont know how to paint very well, so I don't really pay attention to it. But I do agree, it does seem a bit over powering.

How? Moab XLs have a 40 series inner diameter, from what I know, BFT rims are standard maxx size.

I know they are bigger.... read on....

At the time I bought the Moab XL's, I didnt really understand the whole "40 series" thing. I Had purchased them, and when I was ready to mount them, thats when I realized they had too large of a diameter. But also since they were a bit wider too, I figured it would make em taller by mounting them on narrower rims. Also, I cut out a section of the tire and glued it back together to make it fit properly, and then proceded to mount them on the BFT rims.

Your camera takes nice pictures but I think you need to
re-think the focal point on some of your pictures.

Thanks, and sorry about the lighting and such.... it was pretty early in the morning before it got really hot outside, and I wanted to get the pics in before then. Next time I will try to take them more around dusk or early dawn.

I thought the angle was fine but what ever. Like I said above, it was the wrong time of day with the wrong kind of light.

It's cool. If you use one of the large reflectors to bounce the light under the rig it'll take the shadows away and make the colors brighter.
