i checked out the WK stuff. are the axles better than clod axles? i see they are cheaper then clods if buying the whole truck.

"better" is pretty subjective...

On average, the Wheely King will be cheaper to convert into a capable crawler...For ~$200 you get a good base RTR truck, add another $60 or $70 to stretch the wheel base and put in a higher turn motor....and your
on the rocks

But, as with any truck in this hobby, the sky's the limit on what you can spend. There are builds here that I'm sure were accomplished for a couple hundred bucks, and others that go "well over" a thousand...the budget is up to the builder.

Here's what I did ... Took a look at a bunch of builds here in the forums to
get a feel for the type of truck that I wanted to build. Once that was decided (I bought 2 Wheely Kings) I started looking at the parts that went into the builds (pricing them from vendors here). That gave me a good idea
of how deep I needed to get into my "play money". I would guess that I priced out well over a dozen before I ordered my first part.

Get comfortable, read as much as you can stand...watch videos 'till your eyes bleed :-P and decide what YOU want to build.

HTH
