Default 2 speed gearbox (tranny)

Greetings all. I'm looking into building a crawler, possibly from scratch. Anyway, I'm pretty new and inexperienced, but my question is: Is there a 2 speed gearbox/transfercase/tranny that can be accessed, say through a 3rd channel that you can switch from a high to a low speed from your transmitter, and if so could someone point the way to me. I've seen the reduction gear boxes and such, but didn't know if it was possible to switch back and forth from your transmitter. Thanks.

P.S: I attempted a search but haven't a clue what I'm searching for so my keywords were pretty pointless.

Tamiya has a 3 speed for the F350.
RC4WD has a 2 speed R2 tranny.
Both can be accessed from a third channel.

Default E-Maxx

Try looking for a Traxxas E-maxx Transmission. Two-speed, Can be locked into low for crawling. Very durable and most hobby shops have parts for it.

1st gear 2.76:1 2nd gear 1.72:1 which is more like lower and faster depending on your motor / gearing

an 833kv brushless, running 15/66 gears in 1st gear using WK axles with 5.5 in imex AT's will crank out about 5mph off of a 3s lipo.

switching up to second will push it almost 8mph

it's all in the gearing link in the sig.
