I have heard over time that sensored systems like the novak's crawler system are not recomended for getting wet, i have 3 novak crawler sytems, and i do stay clear of water, on the other hand i have some brushless set ups from JRH, outrunners with mambas and quarks that i get wet ocassionaly and had no ill effects on these, but i wouldn't do that with my Novak's though.

As noted on Novak's website. "It has a water-resistant case" Not water proof.

Not sure if the goat is designed differently (i.e., siliconed internals) from the rooster crawler esc, but if not, then the quote I got from Novak was that it was splashproof, but definitely not waterproof. Remember, always keep the magic smoke inside your electric components ! Chris |
