Default New to RC Crawling

I am planning on purchasin the AX-10 with an Integy 55t Motor and the Novak Crawler ESC and a Hited 645MG Servo. My question is about the battery mounting. I see alot of people mounting the battery to the axle, when you do this are you building your own batteries or buying some battery pack that is already put together. If you are buying them all put together could you give me a link to the place where you purchased yours. I was planning on just buying a 4200 stick pack but I need some more input.

Thanks,
Jeremy

www.holmeshobbies.com
www.tcscrawlers.com
www.cheapbatterypacks.com

Holmes Hobbies has pre built 8 cell packs
TCS has pre built 6 and 8 cell packs
Cheap battery packs will build you anything you want

All of the above are great people to deal with.

it's a lot better to have the weight on the front axle though
