Default Tires

I'm looking for a set of tires for my wheely king. I'm looking for the best all around crawling tire. My options are,

Imex rubicons
Imex all terrains
Imex 2.2 red rocks
losi rock claws
moabs
masher 2k
axial rock lizards

I saw some video of the red rocks that was pretty sweet. What do you guys think of those? Any other options are welcome.

I have the Moabs on my WK and they work great, I was very impressed by the difference after adding these tires.

Just one mans opinion!

If you read around the forum a bit, you'll see that the Rock Claws are probably the most comp winning tire of the year.
The Masher 2k's are also a good choice.
Moabs are so last year.

mashers are great. they last a long time, are sticky, and they exel on any type of rock

I was looking at imex red rocks because I mainly crawl on big piles on bricks and landscaping bricks. The big lugs would catch on the bricks right? That was my thinking.

IMHO,IMEX rubber sucks. Anything with the Proline M3 compound will be a better choice. The Losi rock claws seem to be another top tire right now. If I was to buy a 2.2 tire right now,it'd be either a Masher or Rock Claw

The only thing I've seen Red Rocks perform decent on was HEAVY rigs.

I would give the imex rubicons a second look, i actually own at least a complete set of each and everyone of the tires you mentioned, the red rocks really are that bad, shouldn't even be mentioned on the same group, as for the rest, proline tires are always good tires, axial "sticky" lizzards are great, but for the very best right now IMHO you have to try the losi claws and the rubicons

I really like my custom- dremel- cut and sanded tires on my WK. They made a lot of difference. I just play in the yard with it climbing shop equipment and brick, concrete and wood blocks.

Good all terrain/crawling tire has got to be the Masher2K(M2 or M3).

LST,

The Imex red rocks suck. Don't waste your money. I have seen them first hand. The Losi Rock Claws are great, M3 MK2 Mashers are great, Moabs work very well. There are many options depending on your terrain. I would go with the Losi Rock Claws if you can find them. Good luck.

Use the Moabs with the M3 compound. They are stickier
