Default Axial Ax10 bodies?

Figured this is the place for this question..

Axial says the body is 17.25 long and 7 1/8th wide, but the tmaxx bodies say there 7.5 long and 5 3/4ths wide.. But yet whenever I look up axial bodies, I end up getting "tmaxx/revo/savage/ax10" bodies... So I guess my question is, is this right? Will Tmaxx, savage, and Revo bodies work on a Ax10 crawler? If not, what do I need to look for? Which ones will fit?

Thanks in advance fella's and sorry about the such a noob question

It's really based on the wheel well openings and the width but the Savage/Maxx sized bodies are the right ones. It's kind of a hit or miss if your trying match up the wheel wells to your chassis for that scale look. They usually differ up to about an inch in my experiance. I had an HPI Rubicon on one rig with a 12 1/2 inch wheelbase. Then swapped it out for HPI's Bronco and had to shorten up the wheelbase to about 11 3/4 for the wheels to line up the way I wanted. Same company, bodies intended for the same truck but the fender wells lined up a little different. The AX10 is adjustable and you should be able to make it fit any of the Maxx/Savage sized bodies. Just remember to watch out for the MGT sized bodies, they measure a wheelbase around 13 1/2 inches and the Scorpion doesn't stretch that far in stock form
