Default 6cell or 8 cell

i just ordered the axial scorpion kit and i am using the radio system from my savage. i have a hitec645 laying around so I am all set with that. I purchased the novak rooster crawler esc and an integy v10 motor but now am wondering about what battery to use. i can use an old six cell flat pack for now but I would like to get the relocation plates from ckrccrawler and the split battery pack. can the rooster handle the 8 cells or should i stick with the 6 cell split pack?

Yah you can use your 6 cell flat pack if you want and when you buy a split pack for the rooster crawl it states only to use 4-7 cells

The Rooster can only take 7 cell max. Still place your Batts over diff. You can mount them with out the plates as well. I use Velcro strips that have adhesive film on the back of them (purchased them from LHS) get the stuff that is used for RC planes, holds extremely well!

hope that helps..
