| need help with ESC choice
Ok i'm tring to find out if a Associated A.I. Quantum Runner Plus Reverse will run a Integy Matrix Pro Lathe Motor 35T Single and whats the highest mah of a 7.2v battery pack can I run with it as well if anyone can tell me that be great thanks. that speedo will run a lathe just fine. Find a battery with the highest mAh rating you can afford for maximum runtime. Milliamps are the capacity and have no effect on the speed control. It's the voltage you have to pay attention to. Don't get anything over 8.4v

I would stay away from the ESC and LRP products in general. Do a search on here about that esc before you make your final decision. I've owned one and it stopped working after maybe 3 months of use. While a friend of mine is still using his after 2 years. My local hobby shop refuses to stock or order any LRP products because they have had such a bad reputation with quality.

ok well my friend said they had problems so the other choice are Traxxas XL-10 7.2V Forward/Reverse/Brakes ESC or the moped i've seen on here so if I can I'll get the moped from what I read it's the best bang for the buck but thanks for the help. |

i had a moped i died on me in 2 weeks!! right now i got a novak xrs its working good so far no problems only 3 months in. |

I use a Traxxaas XL1. It is good for up to 8.4 volts and down to 25 turns. It doesn't have a brake, but it doesn't have a reverse delay either. They are fairly cheap. I got mine of Ebay for @20 shipped. Ive been running it for over a year with absolutely no problems.
