Default High Rise speed probs

I have a High Rise running a stock motor and ProBoat esc. It seems to go a whole heck of a lot faster running in reverse than forward in all three gears. What could be the cause of this?

Also can I switch out the gears for hird to obtain a higher top speed (want to try to match the speed of my sons stock WK, I'll be switching over to 2.2 Mud Slingers shortly.

Thanks.

switch the pos and neg wires on the motor and reprogram the esc. may have to servo reverse the throttle channel.

you will get some more wheel speed going from 1.9's to 2.2s(if you are 1.9 now)

dont know about switching out the 3rd gear on the tranny

Yea, you've definitely got something hooked up wrong. If you're using the proboat esc that I'm thinking of, you should have 50% speed in reverse. Sounds like you're getting 50% going forward, and 100% speed in reverse.

Thanks I'll check that tomorrow and thinking that it's a boating esc going slow in reverse would make sense.

I swaping out the gears for 3rd, has anyone just flopped the two gears?
