| Almost broke my foot with my Rustler. (lots of damage)
Well over the last 2 days I have been running my rusty a little more. a week before I broke a few pieces too but not this has been the most. Yesterday I shredded the steel top gear, before that I burned the spur. Today I ran into my foot at almost full speed and it broke the "unbreakable" RPM bumper, cut my shoe, and tore the front controll arm assembly off (front bulkhead broke). I also broke the rear shock off and smashed the body pretty good too. Mu foot is allright but now I'll have to figure out a way to slow this thing down. I also noticed that the Geolander tires get grippier once they get warm and turned my rusty into a wheely king. Here's the pics (I'm running 8 cells on a MM 4600 kV motor) so it's not vary fast Attached Images |

I am still amazed how people continue to hit themselves with their own cars, I mean they are controlling it, they are watching it, they see it coming right? |

that is the beauty of a high speed barely controlled vehicle. I've had to jump over my savage before. I was steering, but danged if it isn't hard to control when the front end is off the ground.

| I was in the process of attempting to jump. It did not come from in front of me either, somehow I had my back to it.

I about took my own head off with my buddy's nitro rusty. But I was intentionally trying to jump it over myself off his neighbor's skate ramp.:-P Just didn't have it going fast enough. |

Yeah... That sucks haha. I almost got hit by MY revo doing a backflip once, I got three out of four tires up the ramp but missed one and the took off funny, next thing I know I'm pinning the throttle and ducking and running all at the same time. If only the camera was going |

ok, I admit that I have had several close calls with my T-maxx. I was over at my buddies house, who has several wood skate ramps, so we decided to go jumpin'. on several of the jumps, the truck came of the ramp sideways and headed strait for me. on these jumps I would usually end up stiff-arming the truck and push it to the ground , but on on I sort of carried and corrected its flight path and it made a perfect landing on the landing ramp . | ||

Are you a member of the Traxxas forums? I have only heard of one person stripping the steel idler, and you might be #2. Are the rest of the gears in the tranny steel?
