I've asked the guy that did the build but have gotten no response from him.

What knuckle is being used in this pic?

Thats like the XTM Xterminator style. The C-Hub looks to be that of many different nitro 1/8th scale buggies. The Knuckle also looks to be 1/8th scale.

Almost looks like one of Jeepguy7891's abandoned projects, and I thought he was using RS4 parts for the front of that truck though.

thats a nitromt2 c-hub and knuckle!! i know i used them for a set of axles i owe...!!
they are great!! the c's are clocked so it makes them sweet for a crawler build!!

Do all of the RS4(Nitro, MT, Super) use the same carrier and hubs?

As far as im concerned the only diff is that the one on the pic has an extra hole on top... but from the pic thats all i can tell!!

I am pretty sure that he use HPI RS4 steering knuckles and C's on this build

I did - and the only reply I got from him was "It's HPI"... alot of help he was. But I'm dropping this project for now.
