Default whio is still running brakes with their BL conversion?

I am starting on my brushless conversion for my hyper 7 based truggy and I was wondering, does anyone keep the throttle servo and brakes from the nitro setup? Or do you just let the motor and ESC do all the braking?

I am planning on using the Mamba Monster Max if castle ever decides to release it.

While I am asking questions, how well do the Ofna Torsen differentials hold up? I am planning to use this mostly for bashing/hill climbing (Formula Offroad), but I would like to be able to run on asphalt too. I have some lock blocks that would fit the diffs, but I wonder if the Torsen diffs would give the traction I want, but still allow for good handling on the street?

I would get rid of it. Hell, I don't even have brakes on any of my nitro racers.

I won't be running mechanical brakes on my RC8e.

I run a Novak HV 4.5 on a GorillaMaxx G3R chassis. It's round 12lbs. Let the motor do all the braking. Works fine.
Alot of guys keep the shifting servo for the stock revo tranny. I run the emaxx in 2nd gear no servos or extra weight needed.

I wouldn't go as far as to say "hilariously retarded", but someone who tries to race with no brakes will have a hard time staying on the track.

I run just motor brakes on my BL 1/8th's.

Also, the Torsen diffs aren't very good at holding up to big BL power from what I've read.
