its 3/8" brakeline, which normally wouldn't seem strong enough for this, but as is i cant even get the chassis to twist, plus i'm going to attach a 3 mm aluminum plate that covers the entire bottom. my engine and servos will attach to that. this whole thing might weigh a couple pounds right now. should fly!

here's the power plant for this beast. Honda 4 stroke, overhead cam, 25cc, off a string trimmer. honda's website shows a dyno sheet and make 1.0 horsepower @ 7000rpm.

My super class brushless motor makes 1hp.

Kidding, I love the monster builds. When it's that size, it forces you to MAKE everything. Keep it up.

In that 4th pic......I think you have something reversed. You should be using the masonry blocks to hold up the RC chassis...and the 1:1 jackstands to hold up the 1:1 vehicle behind it. Looks way sketchy bro

As for the build...looks like it'll be a monster

Not so much that he's using cinderblocks, but that they're on their side. They can be safely used by orienting them correctly with a board on top, and assuming you don't over weigh them. I still rather use the jackstands.

Ever build a ship in a bottle? You might get to build a motor in a tuber. ;)

Looking awesome. I wanna see it run over a baja 5b

That was my thought too. It's hard to judge how big the rear of that cage is, but I'd want a way to be able to drop the motor out relatively easily, e.g. using a flat chassis pan on the bottom bolted to the tuber. I'm sure he's thought this through though!

Looks great, I'll definitely be watching to see this beast built up!

You need to have things in the pictures with this chassis by itself it looks like any other tuber. Show it with some common item like a transmitter.
It blew me away seeing it on the tailgate of your truck

That is awesome! I had no idea how big it really was until I saw it on the tailgate.
