Default #15 Darkstar Herbst

Well after having my clear slash body for while, I decided to come up with a Terrible Herbst version for the Slash!

The Rockstar Graphics were done in reverse vinyl, and applied from the inside, and sprayed with a Pactra Bright Red, and backed with Tamiya White.

Vinyl was done by SoCal VinylWorx - A Local Club Member.

On to the pics!

Slash looks awesome brotha....how are your tires working out for you ?? i really like how the decals were mirrored and put on the inside of the body ...i may have to steal your tire rubbing solution by taping the body, thats good thinking ...

The tires work badass, when the track is a little wet, once it drys up and starts getting dusty, they don't hook up as good. But a very big impovement over stock.

rckjeep - I've meet the team 1 time in Vegas, and since then I've always liked them.

I couldnt decide on a type of Red, so I went with a bright red, think it looks nice, but Metallic Red would be sick looking...

Also talk to ElChupoCabre (In this thread) - He is a local club guy that did it for me, killer pricing too.

You have to swap the turnbuckle mount, and shave a little off of the steering knuckle to get it to work.

Always liked the look of your Slash. I got in contact with ElChupoCabre and he's going to be making me some decals for a different Terrible Herbst truck for my new Desert Rat lid. Not quite as colorful as yours, though.
