Yeah I had my sidewinder in mine but ended up pulling it back out cause it would be just to crazy. That and real unstable on turns on pavement. Oh and my finger only goes from neutral to full then to full reverse on anything with speed. heheh. I can only finesse at crawl speed. hehe

How did it run when it ran?? If I had the control I would put it back in.

it was pretty crazy on the street. way to much power. but that kinda doesnt matter cause its not made for the street

in the dirt its INSANE dude, crazy fast. throws a 15 foot roost on the baseball diamond. so much fun!

im gonna do some tuning on the mamba to make it a little easier to handle, like turning down the timing.

overall, its a blast

anyone have a good replacement tire?

Damb you're brave putting the 7700 system in there. I've just put a VXL system in mine and it's damb fun. The only problem now is that it grip rolls like a bitch . I hope my tyres last longer than yours.

has anyone just run a big lipo on the stock motor and esc?

maybe that is a good way to tone it down a bit. Yeah right.

what do you mean by "big lipo" if you mean high mah, thats just gonna give you more run time. If you mean high voltage, i dont think the stock esc can take above a 2 cell

nice you can never have to much wheel speed but you may want some better tyres....

The diff unloads and when it does the tire is spinning twice as fast, add that to the motor speed and there's the tire shredding reason.

Lock that diff, or get better tires

I ran a 3 cell LiPo in mine for a bit, then changed to a CC Sidewinder/4600 combo. I only run 2 cells in it though..... If you have traction it flips a lot if you are trigger happy. I'm "learning" to drive it I modded mine with new RPM a arms, steering knuckles/axle holders, T-maxx big bore shocks on front with trimmed down shock springs (for more droop/less compression) and trimmed the degree arm for more travel. I haven't broken anything in a long time now. I beat the crap out of it too, jumping is awesome since it's so stable in flight. I did have to put in 3 oz of lead in the front and changed the tires and wheels out. I have a mod thread somewhere in this section.....

I think a 3cell is kinda pointless, at least on my setup (castle doesnt recommend 3cell with 7700kv. i geared the spur from 86 up to 90 and brought the pinion down to 14. the torque is crazy i run out of room before i can top it out.

hey mule,

what kinda wheels and tires you runnin'

you didnt start breaking when you added weight

LMK please

anybody else break stuff yet?
