Feigao 6xl with a Monster Max V3. The trick is going to be the motor mount.

I am gonna try it with a 4800mah 3s1p 25C (I have 2 of them that I use with positive results with my Cen Matrix Buggy Conversion that is an 8L motor)....just to see if it is OK....if not, I will order a pair of 5000mah 4s1p 25C. I think that the 3s1p will be fast enough for the bashing that I want to do.

3S on the 6XL will probably be ok. 4S on it though will likely cause some heat issues with the motor. The 7XL's on 4S are bad enough...the 6XL will probably have a short lifespan on 4S in a truggy.

Just for bashing.....I am almost certain that the 3s1p pack will be plenty for my needs...and at that 30K rpm sweet spot, I should not over-heat. At 4s1p I am looking at closer to 40K rpm....too much to run cool.

Tomorrow I plan on tearing down the Warhead...and start cleaning it up for a clean install platform. I have already removed reverse, and the servo for that. I figure that by the 1st of the year it will be complete.

I already have the motor, esc, and mount material on order. My wife is getting me the rest of the necessary parts for Christmas. (She wanted to get me a little something....so I gave her a list). This gives me a few weeks between shifts at work for fabrication of the motor mount and battery tray.

I learned a lot from my CEN MATRIX conversion, so this one will be even better!!!! Already looking at the next conversion....a CEN MAGNUM 1/10th scale. Soon I will have no more nitro vehicles. Brushless is just so much easier to maintain....and more fun to fabricate/build.

It's easy to get hooked on it. I've got a BL Jammin CRT, BL Jammin CR and BL Ofna GTP all in various forms of build.
