| Brushless 4X4 Slash/pede
Thought some of you might be interested in this one. I had this set up more like a Rustler but when I saw the Slash I thought I'd try something new. Specs are Pede trannies front and rear with steel gears. Pede tranny braces F/R Custom aluminum chassis with lowered tube battery tray. Mamba 5700s Spektrum radio Proline Hardcorr body Like I said I had it set up on a lower rustler type chassis and it worked well. It's not really faster than a 2wd but it hooks up like its on rails. The rear motor does build up more heat as you might imagine so I added the heat sink and will do some tranny case mods to help out. I'm looking for a heatsink with a fan if anyone can point me in the right direction. I've also thought about cutting the body and doing some rear tube work with a functional fan but that may come later. Hope you like it. Feet |

First think to get knocked off: "Custom aluminum chassis with lowered tube battery tray." from what I can see in the pic. For the heat build up in the rear motor loosen the slipper a little. I think you'll also need a little more kick up in the front. Does look like a fun thingimabobber to run

I think a skid so you don't tear off the battery tray, maybe front kickup increased Other than that great idea if you have the parts and settup already Don't think buying everything would be worth it compared to converting a 1/8 buggy, but still great idea. |

This isn't anything new 4wd pedes have been built for years. I just stretched the wheelbase for a Slash body. To see another one go to adrc racing they have a nice write up on one. I built it originally because I wanted a brushless Emaxx but the original Maxx didn't seem to hold up very well to that kind of power. And yes it is a fast little rig. The dog and I have alot of fun with it.

I don't have the camera at the moment but I will post steering pictures later. That is the key to the build. Mike at Defiance Racing on RCMT made the parts. He does excellent work. This is a fun project for something a little different.
