Great shots!

I am trying to figure out how you did them, it appears that the car is raised up on another surface to make it appear at the right height. Is this correct?

I am a VW fan and that looks too good

yes, that is correct. i realized that if you raise the model to about 3 ft high, they will match up with the beltline of the 1:1 cars aroud it.

this is actually sitting on the top of my miata, which works really well because of the soft, sandy color.

the pic of the passat covered with rocks and dirt would be pretty funny by itself.

i figured the height thing out a while back and wanted to test the theory, i pass this place everyday for work and thought this would be a good place to test it.

I had to look a few times to be sure I was looking at an RC great job on the shots. It really makes me want a Tamiya kit now.
