| Audreys MONSTER Truck basher....
well ive had this chassis from my "Sinister Silverado" project, and these axles from my "Big Joe" project, and they've been collecting dust for about a year. well i decided to build Audrey a monster truck style basher with them. so i posted up in the wanted section and folks just started donating parts! id like to thanks them first. TEDROCKZ: NIB clod tires NIB clod wheels NIB silver cans Slow Joe: clod 13T pinions thanks fellas. well onto the pics. ignore the temporary rear shocks, awaiting another set of the losi shocks to come in. im really trying to concentrate on keeping the CG low to make it handle well, cause audrey's got a happy throttle finger. i had alot of tips from Brett at CPE on this build. SPECS hand made carbon fiber chassis losi .6 shocks stock motor/pinions tamiya grasshopper esc. Last edited by STANG KILLA SS; 01-11-2009 at 08:57 AM. |

That's a sweet looking basher, I've always loved clod based beaters.

Are the diffs open or locked? I am really considering putting one together. I have an awesome chassis sitting here doing nothing that would be perfect for this build. I even have the body. Just need the rest. I used to LOVE my Clod basher, your builds have always been inspiring and I think this is just the ticket for me right now. Thinking a pair of Spec 19t ball bearing motors, find an ESC to run 3s to the two motors...hmm...

Its never too cold for pics. It was 31 degrees here last week or so and there were a bunch of models in bikini's taking promo shots in front of a theater. Little bit pointy and traffic was a nightmare, but they still got their pictures done. LOL! | |

you have to remember i do all my builds in autocad first, its a disease lol. so yeah most of my builds are pretty spot on, no suprises or guessing. my links are 5.3" eye to eye. but that kinda immaterials since the chassis is custom. hope to see some more of these things pop up on RCC...that would be cool |
