Default Sidewinder/4600/Slash ?

Curious. What are you guys that run this combo set your breaks at ? Also, any drag break ? I've tried a couple of settings and get the feeling I have almost no breaking.

I am using a Velenion system in one of my Slash's. I have the brake set to about 60%. Enough to slow it down, but not lock up the rear tires. Was tired of stripping spur gears at every hard stop. Might get you in the ball park.

Sidewinder/4600 w/ no drag brake. I rarly use the standard brake, but I have it set at 75%. I tap it every once in a while to bring the noce down.

I run 0% drag brake and 30% brake. Anything higher than 30% with me and I end up locking them down and barrell rolling. No drag brake helps a lot with coasting into turns. That will help you get longer run times.

Ok, I'll go with 0 drag and 50 or 60 on brake for starters. One more thing. After changes are made via link, do I need to do anything with the radio or just go. I'm a lil new at electrics. I'm running a DX3R. In other words, I'm up and running, everything is set up ... I make a link change ... do I do anything on the TX after the change ? Thanx

I run mine with the stock gearing 18/86, but I have the 3500kv motor, you have the 4600, maybe go down a tooth or 2 to start on the pinion, or go up to the 90 on the spur.
