Is there an easy way to switch the wires on a twin motor boat....so they counter rotate?
Generally I try and steer clear of too much inner workings stuff...

This is a rc crawling forum. You might have better luck at offshoreelectrics.com for boats.

you should be able to switch the wires on the motor you want to rotate backwards, HOWEVER, many motors are timed and will run faster in one direction than the other (so you'll just go around in circles)

The more specific you get with the question (type of boat, type of motors, etc) the more specific they/I can be with the response.

Is it twin props or just twin motor. If you have 2 props and running a cable drive system then no you will not want to do this. To run counter rotating props you need counter rotateing cables. If you do not have counter rotateing cables the reverse motor will unwind the cable or it will want to knot twist up.
If both motor go into the same gearbox no that will not work...
Seek more advice at offshore electronics or rumrunners raceing...
