Default 68 Camaro Drag Project!

I've been wanting to build another drag car since I got rid of the Charger Drag Project:-( So I picked up a used Bolink funny car roller. First thing up was a body for it so I ordered a 68 Camaro body by Team Walbern. The rear tires on it were dry rotted and cracked so I put some new foams on Up front got treated to some brand new O-Rings from Home Depot I just finished the main paint on the body tonight. I still have to mask off the windows for black trim and the "Bolt" look. Then the fun part of building the rear wing

The motor is nothing other than a Holmes Hobies 5T Puller! I still need to change out the spur and pinion to get the correct roll out for the puller. I will attempt to run it on a 3c Lipo but for right now it will be a 2c.

I'm about half way through making the micro switch set-up for it. In the mean time I will drop a Mamba Max in it That's all for now..... A few picts of where it is now

I'm not sure yet about the speed. I'm still working on the roll out to figure out the gearing I'll be looking for upper 80's though I would like to be in the 90's 1.9-2.0sec range

Cape Fear is a great movie that many don't remember!
