| 1/8 Scale Nitro Dirt Oval Late Model
I got a new toy today. An Ofna Nitro Late Model Dirt Oval. It came, as they say, 80% assembled. All the buyer has to do is assemble the tires and wheels, put in your engine and electronics, and paint the body. For an engine, I got a LRP Z.28. It is rated at 3.89 horsepower! Good thing this car is 4WD! I didnt realize how big these really are until you put it beside a crawler. All I like is putting in the electronics and getting Mike@ Crawler Graphics to put a killer paintjob on it before the local track opens up in June or July. These things are getting really popular down here. We have 18-25 show up every other weekend. I've had the Losi version for a while now and just got the Ofna Hyper sprint this weekend. The 80% version. They are a good time filler between crawling comps... |

Do ya'll have a track close? I looked at the Sprint, it was cool! The most common class here seems to be nitro late model, so that the direction I went in.

There are a couple of guys around Meridian Ms that have built some nice tracks at there homes. The owner of the hobby shop in Meridian is in the process of building a sho-nuff nice place(he gots money like that). The late models are bout the only class they run now being me and one other have the sprints. Mine is about where your late model is now. |

Just got some crappy cell phone pictures from my vinyl guy. He did it up in some old school, machine finish, holographic, GROOVY, vinyl! There is a lot more decals to go on it, he sent me progress pictures of what he had finished, |

| It is impossible to tell from the pictures, the yellow is flouresent yellow. I told him I want something that looked like my "old school" Troy Lee Designs, Shoei motorcycle helmet. I think he nailed it! |

| Wow!!!!
Ran my first race yesterday at Music City Raceway. The car handles great a has a ton of power! First time on the track, first time driving the car, and I got 2nd and 3rd in the 2 heat races and 4th in the A-main. It was so much fun, look for my crawlers to be in the for sale section soon! "DRIVE FAST, TURN LEFT, (repeat)" |

| Games you can win at are more fun! Get Steve's and come on. Easier to do than the crawling schedule and not near as much traveling (GAS PRICES SUCK!). Racing every Sunday evening and about an 45 minutes from the house. Have you built the wife a Berg yet? Let me know, I got her one. |
