| SCX10 Truck - Trailer & Brushless Boat
You guys should see this too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_jOWkttsQI My goal is to build a little beach where I can back the trailer down to the lake and launch the boat in reverse and then away forward at High Speed! The Boat works great after a bit of prop tweeking (video this week) and I am preparing the beach soon. |

That is cool as heck man. I'd love to build a trailer for my boats. I have a supervee27 brushless and a 46" gas deep vee. This guy builds great trailers, but I'm sure they are priced accordingly. http://whitebone.us/ |

Whitebone Trailers supplied a custom trailer hitch for $25 shipped that bolted right on to the axil with no modification to the truck.

Nice rig, that boat looks like one of the Delta Force knockoffs, the Boogie Man 25" I think?

Yeah, I'm about to get one of the 25" Boogie Man hulls or a 29" Delta Force knockoff my "old" Blackjack 26 electronics.

Nice! - I think I might do a BoogyMan this winter with some spare parts I have. That Red Hull of mine has some tabs on the back of the hatch that are a bit crappy to tape easily. That's one thing to watch out for. The "Head of the River" guy from Hong Kong on EBay has the nice hulls that are easy to tape. (My damn boats go so fast they will flip no problem if the waves are too rough - tape is required)

Here is my Red Boat on EBay (I had mine painted) - The same guy sells the BoogyMan Hull and some great parts - That's the hull I recommend - The BoogyMan - Steve http://cgi.ebay.ca/29-deep-V-nitro-e...d=p3911.c0.m14 |

Sorry - I was wrong - This is the hull I advise anyone who wants to build a great waterproof boat with. This guy is the best on EBay for parts too (Except for "Etti" which specialize in racing stuff.) http://cgi.ebay.ca/25-Fibre-glass-de...d=p3911.c0.m14 It is the "Prince" hull that is quick to tape. I checked and the BoggyMan hull had tabs that will give a headache to get waterproof easily. And I believe this issue should be considered. - Steve (Same hull as in video above with Black & Orange Hull which was available last year) |
