Default Nitro Monster King

http://www.hpiracing.com/kitinfo/10860/

Just found this while browsing. Didn't find anything on it yet so hopefully not a re-post.

Would be sweet to do a brushless conversion Anyone know if the axles have any differences from the Wheely King?

Odd front tires... I like the front bumper on the axle.

Why convert this to electric when there is already an electric version out there and aftermarket steel gears for it?

The chassis is quite a bit beefier, looks like the shocks may be as well.

So I take it your not in the rc marketing business...

HPI is really smart actually, that's why they are successful.

This is an impulse buy that will sell big time to all the first timers that step into their lhs. Guys go in wanting nitro, they see this bad ass toy that they can show off to their buds and there you go, big sales.

Also I see a lot of rc guys buying it too (the guys with deep pockets), its a cool truck that would be tons of fun to beat the hell out of.

All my 2 cents of course

They made the front tires like that so it wouldnt roll over in a high speed turn. Ever owned a stok WK nad turned at full speed? the love to roll, Man matter of fact should have called it the Rollover King

Or i think they have no purpose and are to "Mimik" a real monster truck that runs groved tires and what not. Just my take from where their going with this whole market.

Nope, Gula is correct as they're used because the truck would roll over constantly if full rubber tires were installed.

We may have something that will also be like a 1:1 monster...
