| Thats because their bad ass lol. It seems like everywhere you look there are 379 Pete's in scale models but you never see W900's. I collect DCP 1/64th scale trucks and there are 3 times as many 379's as there are W9's. I loved KW's till I started working on them. They are still my favorite truck in the looks department but if I have to buy a truck I'd buy a Volvo but without that 16 liter junk they put in them. It'd have to have an ISX. Volvo VN's are so sweet and comfortable.

The W900L has a very slight slope to the hood. The standard W900 hood is flat (to my eye anyway). The KW grille is massive. Here's a 900L: here's a regular 900 (the front tires were an afterthought by a heavy-hauler judging by the way they stick out): The 900L pictured on top has the 1-piece door glass like the model, but the older daycab 900 has the old vent windows. I've never noticed any Peterbilts with 1-piece door glass (except for custom show trucks). They're like driving a motorhome! I drove daycab VN's for a short time and they were very nice except for the stupid auto-air driver's seat (I hate bouncing up and down on an air seat...I prefer to sit on the floor). | These are the DCP trucks (Die Cast Promotions). The Volvo's are First Gear. You can get them online on eBay and I have a couple websights I use. They are all 1/64th scale. The blue KW and the Transtar are my favorite two. The black KW is sweet though too because its stretched. Some of the custom builds done with these are amazing. Enjoy! |
