Default Castle's new "CC Blower" cooling fan!

Just got these in to keep the motor temps down on the 1/8 buggies It's such a cool idea that works! The blower is open to allow forced air and for the fan to pull through. It also blows the air down around the sides of the motor instead of just on top. Just thought I would share.

Well worth the $12 and I ordered it on Wed. and got them today Man I love Castle!

I know there were some issues with people not liking how hot the 2650kv Monsters were getting but i bashed the hell out of mine after the comp sunday with this thing on it. Right up until Dieselfuel broke it () it never even got hot to the touch, only warm. I think this little thing is going to be the begining of good cooling designs that are more than just a fan.

2x for Castle!

Yup. They will fit the 2200kv also.

Incidentally it just slides over the motor and is clamped on by a couple zip ties at each end. Works like a charm.

Wow, that looks awesome! Will these fit any 540 sized motor, or just Castle's motors?

I asked the castle folks and they said there was no intention of making one for a 540 motor... :-(
