Default Baja Bug: Class 11

I got this SWEET Tamiya M-04 Beetle for Christmas and I built it yesterday. I've been working on the body and cosmetics and all it's waiting for now are the racing decals. It's fully ball-raced and has Tamiya Hornet front tires all around.

Starting the build.

Finishing the build.

Almost done.

Painting the wheels.

Done. I'll get some outdoor shots tomorrow.

Thanks! I'm modeling it after a real class 11 bug. It will likely have a light bar too.

The stock body is lexan, but there is an aftermarket ABS shell made by Kamtec.

I took it to the baseball diamond this afternoon, but it was still a little soggy from all the snow that has been melting. Most of the pics are a bit blurry, and only a couple turned out okay. I also started on the light bar.

Thanks! I was hoping I'd be the first to build a class 11 bug.

I finished the light bar. I still need to find some number decals for the doors.

Lights were cut off of my old Clodbuster light bar.

Light bar painted red.
