Smile Class 1 Buggy

Just want to share my build. Its a Class 1 inspired buggy. Steel tubular roll cage with metal body panels bolted into the cage was incorporated into the main chassy for the look and unbeatable protection, The powerplant of this rig is a .28 nitro engine. Dimensions in inches are (23x16x14). It has a 2 speed transmission, 2 coil over shock absorbers for a smooth ride in each corners.

Here are some of its pics.

Looks like the Associated MGT with a Class 1 cage and panels. Nice work... how much weight did that add?

Also, if you haven't done the forward only kit in that MGT - it is a night and day difference! Tons more power and speed, you will be amazed at the weight savings! I've seen some guys run a narrower tire in the front to help preserve the looks. Some have even removed the front wheel drive so it would dune right. The issue i have with my MGT is weight! That is a heavy beast!

Yeah. its so fast although a bit heavy. I even smashed it into a motorcycle when my transmitter gone wrong, luckily no one got hurt. Sad to say I had to sell it to work on another bigger class 1 buggy. This time it would be designed from ground up using savage and baja 5b components. chassy, shock mount, drivetrain would be a scaled version of the full size buggies just to name a few.
