| Best Truck???
Hello, I want to buy a Truck. I have looked at different models but I still can't decide which one of the following to buy: TRAXXAS - Revo 3.3 TRAXXAS - T-MAXX 3.3 LOSI LST XXL CEN GST 7.7 HPI Savage XL 5.9 HPI Savage X 4.6 ASSOCIATED MGT 8.0 RTR I want to buy the best. The price difference do not bother me. My only goal is to take the best, anyway money will be spend. I'm interested in the following parameters: Build quality and materials; Acceleration; Top speed; Stability; Strength of the chassis; Strength and durability of the engine; Transmission; Riding sensation; And most of all - enjoyable maintenance - so you don't go mad about something made with bad idea. Also if you can offer something better I will be glad to hear it. Thanks! |

IMO Anything Traxxas is great for Bashing, Easy to repair, parts are cheap to replace if using stock equipment.... and EASY TO FIND. Look into the Traxxas E-MAXX, brushed or brushless the speed is there, durability, fun everything. thats my .02 cents |

If money is not a problem you should get an E-Revo. It handles extremely well and it doesn't require much work. Then again, if you like the sound of nitro, get yourself the 3.3. Either way its an awesome truck. Have fun with whatever you decide. |

i had a t-maxx .15 .... 2.5 ...and now a 3.3 and a savage xl 5.9. the t-maxx collects dust . the savage gets beat on .and has broke nothing...even when a culvert dead stopped it at full speed. |

the t-maxx is a great truck, but they just dont take the beating a savage will. i beat the living crap out of my X ss and ive never broken one part on it. its not as simple to work on as a t-maxx, however your not working on it very often. its not hard to work on, nothing drives you nuts, but its a little more involved. now if your going to race, hands down go with the revo, its a faster truck in the hands of most drivers, however most people dont get monsters to race. as stated, traxxas and hpi are right on par with each other, the biggest things that drew me to the savage was the durability, and the fact it was a big block. |

E-Revo or Savage 5.9 . If only bashing I would go with the Savage.

I agree with Krawl. Bashability goes to the Savage. If you are looking to race them, I would go with the E-Revo. Parts are readily available for both trucks, so that should not be a problem.

Get a HPI Baja 5b/t, if you have dunes or open space nearby. A 5b/t is spectacular in the dunes.
