Default KBrog's E10

Picked up a used E10 roller for real cheap. I know its a entry level car, but Im having loads of fun with it. Had a trinity Monster 550 21T turn motor laying in a box, so it found its way onto the E10 along with the giant fan cooled heat sink. I had to trim 5 fins on the bottom and 2 on the side for clearance to make it fit. Motor stays mice and cool now. Not really into drifting, but had to put the motor in the drift (front) setup due to the H.R. motor mount. Put a Mamba Max Pro on it (just temporary, will be going on my LCC) and running it on 3S Lipo. This thing will scoot for a E Turd. Getting ready to up the pinion and see what happens. Im betting broken parts.

I'm going to be running the hpi chevy silverado race truck body, not anything to take pics of yet just an eturd roller. I will paint the body sometime this week, can't decide how I want to do it yet.

Thanks. Its my first electric onroad car, so the only thing I can compare its speed to is the Nitro 4-Tec 3.3 I used to have. Which this is not even close. But on the upside, I can keep this one under control, unlike the 4-Tec. So, I have more fun with it because I can keep it going on its intended path. I do have a few pinion gears on order to try out and get a little more speed.

I had a good time running my E10 this weekend, on 3s it's insane. I have to learn to control all that brushless power. I am going to work on the handling this week and hopefully be able to out drive you Karl.

Heck yeah. E10 + MMPro + 5700kv + 3s = Big Smiles, and a scratched up new body. I gotta get a brushless motor for mine.

I ordered the sway bar kit, turnbuckles, adjustable camber a arms, a pinion, and a motor fan last night. I am gonna get this thing dialed in one way or another, we need to find some smooth pavement to run on.

New fairgrounds would probably be pretty smooth since it's so new.

30min aint bad. I would drive more to race RC stuff. We need to start a local E10 unlimited class to run when were not crawling.

I don't mind driving 30 min either, to race. I was just thinking that there are lots of places in town to bash. Good luck getting enough people with e-turds to have any decent turn out for a race, probly just you and me Karl, it would be sweet though.

If we have planned races or at least monthly runs I would pick up an E10 to run. They are certainly a lot cheaper than crawlers LOL

Ok I ordered one and to hit the magic # on Tower I ordered the sway bar kit and the adjustable arms. So hopefully we can hit the pavement as soon as it gets here and I install the new parts. I will probably swap out the radio rx for a spektrum.

To save yourself some hassle when you install the adjustable arms, only use the uppers and not the lowers. The lowers will widen the track width and make the driveshafts loose and woble, but you can do like the derections say and put O-rings on each end of the shafts.
