Default The evolution of my Traxxas Slash

Have had my slash forever but never had a thread on it, I did document a bunch of stuff though so here we go, might have some more plans for this thing soon.

First addition was a set of CAC's from RPP, these are the 2.2 x 2.2 wheels and are so nice. First I drilled two holes for air:

Then I boiled the stock wheels and tires for five minutes each to get the tires off. Here they are mounted up to the new CAC's:

I think these are great wheels, they look nice, are an innovative design and easy to mount:

I ordered up some RPM front and rear shock towers and caster blocks. I also changed the shock oil to 35 up front and 45 wt in the rear.

name the hi-lift scale item in this pic...

I also was luck enough to find the new proline body at my LHS

sticks out too far?

- Traxxas big bore aluminum shocks
- MIP drive shafts
- Proline stitch tires (got some before they went to 2.2 x 3.0)
