Default Sand dragster

I am in the process of building a drag car. I have a GMS drag spec pro mod kit. I am running a mm with a 9000 kv motor on a 2650 50c 3s lipo. I would like to turn it into a sand drag car but I can't find wheels that have the 4 bolt pattern . If anyone can help me to find where I can get wheels & sand paddle tires I would really appriciate it .This is how it sits so far.

These are the wheels I'm talking about . I need a set of lightweight beadlocks that have the 4 bolt pattern.

Unfortunately,I think they will have to be custom made.I don't recall seeing any when I had my drag project.

For tires you can gat a set of paddles from RC4WD that would be perfect for a sand drag car and like the others have said you'll have to make you're own or maybe mod a set of Eritex delrin 2.2 beadlocks like these.

Those look like they would be very easy to just drill one larger center hole and four mounting holes.

The hex might be a problem but,I'm sure it could be worked around.

Shouldn't be a problem to shave it off.

No problem!

It would probably be cheaper to just shave the hex off and pretty easy to.

You'll need to do away with those O-ring front tires and use some buggy fronts like the smooth Tamiya's that are on the Sand Scorcher

So in other words just shave the hex off! ...

Me & the wife go to the beach all the time so I need something to play in the sand with.A 9000kv bl on a 3s lipo with these sand paddles will be fun. Definitely will have to add a wheely bar when the tires get here.

Do yourself a favor and get the paddle tires from rc4wd instead of the proline paddles the will get plenty of traction without putting to much strain on the driveline as opposed to the big paddles on the proline's plus they mantain more wheel speed and might help keep the front end down

Its ready to go except for the 12mm hubs that are on the way & tires. I can't wait for them to get here . Its fun on the street with the foam tires but I can't get past half throttle without it getting sideways.

For about 2 seconds.

12.6 volts x 9,000 KV = 113,400 rpm.
